ABOUT ME

My background is in Electrical Engineering (B. Tech, M. Tech) with first rank in M. Tech from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India. I had done mathematical modelling for 6 years prior to my doctoral work and that skill I brought into Computational Biology during my PhD.

I did PhD from Monash University (Australia) and Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (India).

My PhD Thesis is on applying machine learning techniques to high-throughput experimental data and also efficiently incorporating the knowledge from literature and experts, to mathematically model biological systems. I focused on gene expression data and regulatory networks in my PhD. My thesis is in the area of Computational/Systems Biology and Bioinformatics.
